Flame Box Elder Vase

Here is a vase I turned as my payment for many pieces of this beautiful Box Elder. It stands approximately 12" and was hollowed with a 2-3/8" forstener bit. The glass insert fits perfectly with about 1/16" play, just in case the wood decides to move. The couple was quite satisfied, and so was I.
