European Boxwood Round Bottom Box

I am very busy right now, but I had to take a minute to grab and turn this piece of Boxwood that has been sitting on the shelf for awhile! Turned from true European Boxwood (Buxus sempervirens), this wood is very unique in that it has a tight grain, very rich yellow color, and is super dense! Styling features include, a true round bottom, chamfered edge on the rim, and a domed lid. Turned, hollowed and finished with just abrasive wax. I am starting to transition away from the lacquer. Size is 1 3/4" tall x 1 5/8" diameter. Overall, this wood is really unique and is a joy to turn!
