Well all finished all but for a name
This is the piece I posted that I was working on over the Xmas Hoilidays
Dam if the texture didnt take ages to complete every time I thought I had finished there was another hour hunting for missed bits.
I could only do about a half an hour in a stretch before going dotty
210mm h 14mm dia
I fully appreciate the time Ed takes to pierce all these holes and also fully understand why he keeps the size down.
I used a 3mm cup cutter ( 6 of them ) to place on the raised dimples and the finish is my new friend Rust that Richard R and Terry baker put me onto when we were at a Collab in Australia recently thanks guys .
The inspiration came from the beach at our holiday home were the rocks are covered in Millions of miniature mussels, like a carpet and the worm holes in the rock faces
Comments welcome
Terry, it looks exactly like the beach. A cup cutter - I was wondering how to do that. Where did you get it?

The strong sense of nature, as well as the textural allure combine to make this piece outstanding!

Terry very well done! It sure does remind me of the coral and sponges in the caribbean. Great work! G
