Equilibrium

This is a bit of a departure from my current split bowl pieces. I've been experimenting with clear epoxy as a design element and this is the first result that I'm really satisfied with. Its inspiration came from some glass pieces I saw a SOFA. Eyes always wide open for new ideas.

Maple burl with a touch of red dye, painted and textured poplar, epoxy, stone

Alan, that looks great. I like the way you have suspended the stone in the clear epoxy. One of my degrees is in physics so the term equilibrium brings back experiments, equations and a whole lot of different perspectives on the things around us. You have done a good job of catching that perspective.
I always like looking at your designs. They are "the cats meow."
