8" dia x 5" deep English Walnut

I had this piece on the firewood pile for some time because I couldn't make a useful bowl out of it. That was before I started hollow forming. I picked the piece off the firewood pile on Sunday and chucked it on the other end. The bark that ran through it fell out nicely. I was very surprised and pleased with the result.
