Ebonised Centrifugal bowl

Ebonised Centrifugal bowl inspired by the teachings of Mark Raby, sycamore with iridescent/metallic acrylics. size approx 10"x 3".
all comments and suggestions for improvement gratefully received!
Jason-

Beautiful piece and great work on laying out the lines on this piece and the little touch of color for the dots makes it.

Thanks Gary - wish i could take credit for laying out the lines!
this is ebonised first and then with the lathe on the paint is applied to the inside lip of the bowl, the effect is obtained by using different colour acrylics, thinned down to differing amounts and applied at different lathe speeds. the colour dots are opal dust liquid applied using the same technique, the centrifuge forces spin the paint out to the design seen. its a lot easier than the finished bowl suggests! but thanks for your kind comments anyhow ;)
