I would love to learn how to do this kind of dye work. This is really super work in my opinion!

I used Chroma Craft dye followed by several coats of Chroma Craft high-gloss Acrylic Lacquer --which is better for blue colors since nitro-cellulose lacquer has a slight yellow tinge that can desaturate blue colors. Here are my steps:
1. Apply 6 coats of spray lacquer.
2. Hand sand with 800 grit under diffuse light source until all "orange peel" finish is knocked down to create an even matte sheen.
3. Follow up with 1500 grit. Should have little to no high gloss spots before proceeding to next step. Be careful not to sand through lacquer and dye
4. Use 3M's Perfect It 3-part buffing system in sequential order with a dedicated 3" foam buffing pad on a power drill for each grit: https://www.amazon.com/Polishing-Compound-Ultrafine-Kangaroobands-Microfiber/dp/B09NTZY6NL/
