Dianthus

Pollen are all around us in Nature, but we cannot see them!

I've seen pictures about pollenobjects and was immediately fascinated about the beauty of the shapes and different looks. Since many of them are "round"ish in nature I wanted to transfer the 40-60 micrometer small objects into larger objects in wood on the lathe.
Depending on the style of the pollen I used turning first and later carving, pyrography, glue and coloring.
This piece is a dianthus pollen.
Its already the fifth Pollenobject I made, i have to also show my previous ones ;-)
