Very nice. Hard for me to get a finish like that on my best days. Hard to hollow? I've turned some local grown green ironwood but assume this stuff is tougher.

Very nice form and I like the sapwood accent.
Your ceiling fan/light(?) is a bit of a distraction.

Great finish and form, the Ironwood is so much like several of the Australian hardwoods.

It wasn't that hard, actually. Not as hard as dry hickory or dry locust for example.

Yeah, I didn't notice it until later. One of the set screws on my light stand had loosened.
