Dawn in the Garden of Eden

Turned Magnolia vessel: 13x9x9 approx. The motif is of the serpent in the garden when it was alone communing with the flora. The serpent and the flora wrap around the vessel in harmony. Yucca cactus are also present. Texturing is accomplished with burs and NSK presto. Air brushed acrylics and piercing accent the piece. Inside is left clear.

This piece has been juried into the Visual Arts Alliance 30th annual show along with Indra's Dream. They were the only 3D pieces selected for the exhibition. Both pieces have also been featured on the cover of WOW.
of the 3, this is my preference..altho I find the iris quite appealing too. Good luck with your exhibition.

All three are wonderful, but I like this especially because of the subtle color and the gracefulness of the piece. Congratulations on your selection into the VAA show.
