Curly Shedua Box

A box 2 1/2" in diameter and 2 7/8" tall made from some wood my son gave me for Christmas. My first box in this material.
Another striking box! love what you did with the inside-top ... very nice

the top photo could stand a bit of straightening ... distracts a bit from the grain, but then i go around straightening pictures anyway!

I like it... nice job! I have tried that type of wood before... that is the wood when roughing it comes of in little shards and falls down the shirt and is a pain. I like the rippling affect that it has when it is finished... the inside is especially nice. Good work!

-e-, I think you are right, it is a little crooked, LOL. I had not noticed until you mentioned it. I guess I better adjust my tripod next time. I have been making the assumption that all is well. Just tilt your head a little....LOL

check your photo-editing program -- in photoshop, while cropping the picture, it can be rotated to straighten it out ...
