My first attempt using the CrushGrind Mechanism - this prototype 10.5 " tall & is turned from Ambrosia Maple. Some small cavities showed up while turning & I filled then with Lapis nuggets, I applied Parfix #3408 CA and buffed with a very light application of Renaissance Wax for the final finish. I was mostly focused on getting the mechanism installed correctly and intentionally kept the exterior design plain & simple...
