Copper and Wood

Copper and Wood

9 x 7 big leaf maple burl. Dyed, small voids inlayed with copper and the collar is turned copper from a solid cold casted copper blank.
Very nice Jerry. What tool do you use to turn the copper with? I know that copper is a softer material of the metals.

Thanks Lamar. Actually, even though this is copper, it came from a blank that I made mixing copper shavings dust with epoxy. The epoxy is just a binder as the majority of the blank is truly copper. It will dull your tools quickly, but regular gouges are all you need.
