15 inch x 9.5 inch 3/16ths wall at top graduating to 1/4 at bottom, heavier at bottom because one side has almost no wood, so was not sure if it would fall over or not if it was thin at the bottom
Hi Don, thank you again for your comments, it was sanded on the lathe,used a sharp tantung tear drop sraper which gives a very good finish surface anyway, just progressed slowly about 4" at a time for the final cut, then when i got to the bottom gave a good cutting scrape from top to bottom, then a final sand 120 up to 180. of course fingers and everything were crossed, adrelanin was high lol
