Pedestal_Bowl_with_Celtic_Knotwork_1

This pedestal bowl is 11 1/2"dia x 6"high and turned from Iroko. The band of celtic knotwork is relief carved and textured. The background is textured and pyrographed.
Gwilym, excellent pedestal bowl, and the Celtic carving is quite fine. You must have much more patience than I.

I am glad to see true "Celtic Knots" unlike what people do on many pens which is just circles. I have 3 pieces I am working on right now and hope to post them by the end of the month. I do design my own knotwork, did you design these? Great piece either way, form, size, proportions, everything right.
