The title represents a new series where the work represents the potential future of seeds or spores released to face their fate. The empty shell is all that remains behind.
This piece came out to be a little different than I had originally envisioned. I wanted the wings to be more akin to my sphere series, but I didn't leave the wall thickness deep enough. The next in the series will more closely resemble my spheres and I'll add a bit of other challenging stuff to entertain myself during the making.
