The Phi bowl

The Phi bowl

This bowl measures 14" x 18" and 3 1/2" deep. Made from Yellowheart and Wenge. I made this bowl to represent the Greek letter "Phi". The finish is teak oil and tung oil.
Well done. And, without doing some complex geometrical transformations, the main body seems to have a ratio of about 0.6, very close to 0.618 - the Golden Ratio, also sometimes called "phi."

Accidental? Or deliberate? Good one, either way.
