Thanks, Angelo. The good thing was I was able to see exactly where my scraper was inside this hollow form!

This is a Beautiful pc. I love the shape....But how in the world did you keep this pc. from blowing apart on the lathe? It must have been a little nerve racking.
very nice photo too.

PS. Is there any way that I can make this a Photo Of the Day

Thanks very much for your comment. I kept studying this piece as I turned it, and it looked very sound across the bridge. Constant attention to the thickness in that area really paid off!
