Box Elder Goblet

Box Elder Goblet

6" tall 4" wide. Finished with a layer of tung oil then a polyeurathane coating. I thought the beading would be interesting but I had a very difficult time keeping the grain from ripping. any suggestions? Thanks for looking

Mike
Hi Mike, what did you use to do the beads? I would have used either a skew or a beading tool, which is basically a 5/16" square skew.

I used a v shaped skew beveled on one side only and then a square skew to round out the edges. The more I look at it the more I think the beads should have been deeper. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
