At the OVWG's last monthly meeting, Michael Anderson was the invited demonstrator. I really enjoyed talking with and meeting him! In the morning, he demonstrated his signature captured spin top, and in the afternoon there was a hands-on class were you had the opportunity to make your own spinning top. After being guided through the process of making it, here is one I made at home. Cherry umbrella with walnut knob, and hard maple for the stand.
