Colors of the Wind

Here's another project I managed to finish recently. Part of a collaboration project organized by Marie Anderson. My partner sent me a Maple spindle, and I made this small box. Neil Turner style urchin box, where the lid is held via a stem on the body that protrudes through a hole on the lid. I used pyrography for the pattern and textures, and watercolor brush pens for the colors and the black. 2.5" x 2.5".
