Interstellar Orb

Another in my series of interstellar orbs. This is about 7 1/2” in diameter. Made from London plane. Incisions made with a spear point scraper. I will have about 25 to 30 spheres as part of an art exhibit I’ve been accepted to in June and will be shown until September. My first big art show… exciting.

This looks great John! I look forward to seeing more. And since you are making so many, it might not be difficult to cobble together a "follow-along" post for those of us without your interstellar know-how ;)

Hey Will, thank you. Not sure if you’re on Instagram… I do have a few short videos showing a bit of the process. My handle is Broken Bow Studio. But I could figure out how to make a quick instructional for here in the forum as well…
