Calabash Bowl

This is a small Calabash bowl made from Long Leaf Pine. It measures about 7 by 5 inches and this piece is special because of the resin that becomes translucent when turned thin but I find it also makes it harder to work with, comments and critiques encouraged.
This photo shows how you can see light shining through the resin but it is hard for the camera to pick up.

A little too straight on the walls to be a true calabash, nice bowl.
Is the pic taken from offcenter, the left side is more straight than right side to this 4 eyes.
