After posting many boxes to the gallery in the round bottom style, you are probably wondering....can he turn anything but those!!?? Yes I can, and here it is! Turned from Golden Amboyna Burl (Pterocarpus indicus) this complex and pretty difficult to make Elegant Box is really stunning! The colors and grain patterns, along with the small sap patch really elevates this box. Box features include a sloped non round bottom styling, thin, double chamfered lid, and a 1/16" bead at the lid and base joint. Turned, hollowed and finished with abrasive wax. Size is 1 1/2" tall x 1-3/4" diameter.
