Quaking Aspen HF

Quaking Aspen hollowform. Riddled with holes from beetle larvae. 7 1/2" x 4 1/2". This is the piece of wood that blew up on me that I mentioned in Odie's conversation about avoiding blow ups. It glued back together pretty well except for a missing piece (left of center) and was uneventful after that. It was hollowed from the bottom and also has a 9 point star carved around the opening that gets swallowed up in the grain pattern.
Very nice and great recovery. If you didn't say it blew up, I think anyone would know.
