Pit-Bowl

Avocado pit: 3/4" wide 3/8" tall
Back in the summer I came across people using avocado pits for buttons, so I thought "why not a bowl". Started drying a pit in late summer/ early fall. Turned back in November because the outside was turning black and it was getting hard. It was like turning cold butter. It was still not fully dry so I left it in the shop and amazingly didn't lose it in a pile of shavings. The rim still warped a little, maybe I will try turning a fairly fresh one next time and see how drastic it would get.
