White Ash with India Ink

This white ash bowl was turned green and thin. It moved quite a bit, as expected. Not expected was the crack that developed. 8" x 7" x 4", finished with Tried and True Original.
Nice piece Kent! Love the thin walls. Those pesky cracks… especially for those of us fighting subzero temps by opening up the damper all the way on our wood stoves. I think it’s dryer in my house right now than in the desert. That will cause even previously dry bowls to crack anew.
