This is a telephone pole insulator I made a little stand with a tea light in it. Spalted ash with danish oil finish. Thanks to @Phil Hamel for the idea.

What a great idea! I have some insulators that came off my grandparents farm, I am going to do something similar and give them to my brothers.

My brother is a railroad buff. He has about 10 of these he's collected over the years and I'm giving this to him. Your brothers will appreciate them.
