Dog Bowl

I just finished this piece for my friend, Dan Zobel , who turned it. This is a piece about the wonderful life of his dog, Wrigley, who loved playing with used (never new) baseballs. Inside the bowl is a painting of Dan's new dog, Ralston. All the baseballs were actualized from arcs in the grain.

I do have other views, but I don't think I can post them here. At least I can't figure out how...I guess I would have to repost them now? Is that ok? No lettering. Just scrumptious texture by Dan, who is one of my fav artists to collaborate with. Thanks for the kind feedback. Warms my heart.
