Finished 4/26/23 and sold for $135 on 10-12-24. 7 1/2" x 3 3/16", 11.3 oz. Sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural and Beall 3-step buffed.

Yep, this E.coli is one of the toughest things I've ever had to deal with. Lucky I have insurance, because the hospital bill came to $31,000!

It's hard to guess how long it will take for bowls to sell. I've had bowls sell the same day they are posted, and others that take years. I give away a lot of them that don't sell within a couple of years. From my POV, dark woods tend to be more desirable than light colored woods, but the grain pattern is a factor for sure. Of commercially available woods, there is probably ten times more light colored woods, and dark woods tend to be more expensive.
