4-Petal Squash Blossom

Turned from Maple, 13-1/2" Diameter and 1-1/2" Tall. Pattern is from a Pima Indian Basket Cir. 1890's. The Pima are a Southwest Indian Tribe and they used this Basket to gather their crops. Identical pattern on the backside and Rim is done with a Herringbone pattern.
