Staircase study #1

Demo stair design... Cherry walnut and maple 6"D 4.75"H
Outstanding glue up Paul! For a moment, the 3D effect flipped on me ala MC Escher! The tangential segments on the rim absolutely rock! Outstanding shift to a new and exciting segmented design Paul!

Paul, the stair steps on the side are awesome, but I think the top should be different. As is, it seems to detract from the awesome effect on the side. I’m wondering if it could also be stairs in an M.C Escher style.

Wait for the next one Rich... In progress... This is only a demo to get the compound angles to work. I agree with the top as it was an afterthought but that didn't matter in this case.
