Mesquite Urn
David Bartell

Mesquite Urn

A Mesquite Urn with interesting compression/stress grain and nice color. Because of the stress the pith cracks were extensive so I added four pewas and quite a bit of epoxy and CA to tame their growth. With Mesquite that should work. A brass threaded insert from Stainless Bottle Stoppers and some turquoise nuggets. 11 inches tall and 8 inches wide. Large capacity. Finished with Waterlox.
