Flow

“Flow” is made of Maple that was cut into a spindle blank and allowed to dry for a year. The piece was first rough hollowed. After carving to the lowest layer, the hollowing was completed. The texturing is carved and burned, and the finish is acrylic and metallic paint with a lacquer topcoat. The piece is 7”x7”.
