I gifted this to a guy that gave me a car load of very expensive woods. then he tells me was given a scholarship from the AAW to turn with someone in Vermont in the mid 80's... what a small world.
The "someone in Vermont" was most likely Russ Zimmerman. Bought my first grinder from him almost 35 years ago. Haven't seen or heard anything about him in a very long time ... wonder if he is still with us.
