Handled Cups

These are made from one piece of wood on a reciprocating lathe (pole lathe modification to western style electric lathe), wiped urushi finish. The tall cups are called Lámhóg (law-vouge) in Irish and are an old traditional cups there
These are really unique Jarrod. Thanks for showing us. I'm sure many of us would love to hear more about your reciprocating lathe. Maybe you could give us a peak on the discussion forum? Welcome to the club!

What a special privilege to see this post here. I have admired your work for a number of years. For those unfamiliar, a google search will provide you with a delightful evening respite from the cares of the world. Thank you Jarrod.
