At our September club meeting Brian McDonald demoed making these lantern ornaments. He said he got the idea from a Mike Peace youtube video and Mike got the idea from John Lucas. So I hope I've credited all that deserve credit. The tea lights are amber colored, they flicker, and have a built in 6 hour on 18 hour off timer. So if you turn them on at 6pm they burn til midnight and then repeat that schedule until you turn them off and reset the schedule. Various woods, any wood will work, copper and brass wire for the hangers, and a little painting with acrylics done on the lathe with it turning.
