Initial MC was 14% on this turning block. After roughing without anchorseal, it took a total of 4 months to stabilize. During that brief seasoning session, it remained at the same weight. I could have turned it entirely in one session, but it's wise to make sure that the weight has stabilized on all bowls. 7 11/16" x 2 1/4", 7.9oz, sanded to 600gt prior to Danish Oil Natural and Beall 3-step buff. This one has an extreme undercut rim, and up under there is finished to the same degree of surface quality as the rest of the bowl..my specialty! Finished on 3/1/23 and sold for $175 on 8-3-24.
