Could u speak of the plug, seems very simple.
 
It’s done just like a pewa—tape off area, glue template on, use a router, glue in the circle, sand smooth. Get templates (and router and video instructions) from big island engraving. Pretty easy.
 
I wondered if you had used modified drill bit, but router is good.
