Cracks held together by pewa, wasn’t sure it would make it. And, yes, that’s the bark on the side.
Really smart choice to leave that bark patch on! For what it’s worth, I think this is your best piece you’ve shared with the forum. Really well done and most importantly, super original.

Your technique and style here shows how even the most “defective” piece of wood has great beauty when time and care are given to it. You should be proud of this one!
