Klauth
Bradford Pear, Black Cherry, leather dye, acrylic paints, magnets; 4.5"l x 3"w x 5"h. I turned, pyro textured, carved, charred, and painted the egg, and turned, carved, and charred the base. This is for a friend--I'm trading with him for a bunch of coffee beans. Re. the name, Klauth is a dragon in the Forgotten Realms campaign from Dungeons and Dragons. I don't play, but I stumbled upone the name/lore after I finished the egg. It seems just right.

The colouring is amazing Michael, and I love the way the egg is so perfectly "perched"!
You're going to get a reputation as an egghead but keep them coming :p

Thanks everyone. I previously traded my Drogon dragon egg with the same guy for coffee. Really high quality single origin stuff, and I didn’t have to buy beans for around 3 months. Looking forward to that again haha.
