Walnut HF # 485

Walnut HF # 485

Walnut HF, carved and acrylic paint, 6-1/2 tall x 10-1/4 wide. This is the second carved and painted hollow form I’ve tried. I made the lines a little wider to see the difference in looks between thin and thick lines. Still working on carving technique and what tools are needed. Critique welcomed.
Great looking piece! I like this thicker line better. Reminds me of a bee's honeycomb.
Thank you! I’m just experimenting with different things right now. It’s the only way I know to improve, loose a few in the beginning but hopefully improve on future pieces.
