Platter with Basket Illusion Design

Here's my latest experiment with basket illusion. Instead of putting a design on the whole platter, putting a design only in the middle. 10" diameter platter from hard maple. It is beaded with 1/8 inch beads and colored with Pitt artist pens.

Personally, I think it looks great in the center. The open wood and dense center pattern compliment each other.
