“Hummer-donk” illusion, view #1
This “hummer-donk” topsy-turvy illusion was inspired by Pat Carroll on “Meet the Woodturner” after numerous request by Pat for me to make the hummingbird sound. (We have lots of them flying around here). IF I actually made the sound, I think I would sound more like the donkey! Not happening! 
The pattern came from a craft guild member. We all had a good laugh.
I’ve added the bucket, it is turned from Ambrosia maple, ebonized and silver acrylic paint added. (2 1/4”x2”) The topsy-turvy carving is 4 1/2”tall x 2”wide.
