Mesquite Hollow Vessel

Mesquite Hollow Vessel

Mesquite hollow vessel with paint and lacquer, about 4" x 3".
I don’t have the faintest idea how you created that paint effect. Really good…. Really really good

A beautiful little vessel, Ric. Love the color and paint effect and wondering how you achieved that result. Curious as to why the different number of beads/grooves on the upper & lower band. The natural colored Mesquite band almost looks like an insert. Just being nosey! 😇

Thanks Tom, the paint is simply crackle paint. The extra bead was a design option to give a little more weight to the bottom for a more balanced overall effect.
