Just a Maple Bowl

The tree this, and several more in line, came from fell in a bad storm three years ago. I used to tap this tree every spring in the sugar season! I cut up the base up into perfectly clean 8/4 lumber. The upper part of this tree sat down by the creek until I rediscovered it this last winter. Most of it was too far gone to turn. This piece was really close but I did manage it with a bit more sanding than I'd like to admit. 10 x 5".
