Stave and segment hollow form

This is a wedding present for my grandson. It is made up of staves, top and bottom sections and segments for the centre section. The dark woods are Pau Ferro, the light are Birds Eye Maple The handle is Cherry. The dark lid and foot are also Pau Ferro . There was this beautiful dark piece at the end of one of the two boards I had. The dividers are Ebony. I have to thank Dan Swain for the stave inspiration. Finish is Wipe-On Polly. The bowl is 8" in D.
