Unknown Burl Epoxy Casting

This is my first burl and epoxy casting. I’m calling the burl Box Canyon Burl because it came from an unknown shrub that grows around box canyon. The casting was done with Alumilite Deep Pour Epoxy. It is finished with a multi coat Starbond Thin. I was one of those that said I would never turn plastic or epoxy but gave it a try. Now I’m hooked.
Welcome to the vortex.... I've only been doing it for 15 years and only very rarely turn a "wood only" piece anymore... nice job!
