David Bartell

Jeweled Mesquite

A shallow bowl, 10" x 2", turned from an end-grain piece of Mesquite. The rim has integrated turquoise necklace beads which are raised for tactile and visual effect. The turquoise cabachon in the center is surrounded by a textured area and a beading illusion fret pattern. Finished with waterlox. Happy Fourth.
