Quilling

Learning a new "enhancement" for my woodturning and it's called Quilling. The 10" Mahogany bowl was the easy part of the project, but the 40 feet of colored paper strips that had to be rolled and worked turned out to be rather challenging. Always admired this craft and was glad I had a chance to try it and learn more about it. Tedious but most likely I'll do some more work in it since I do love how the colors really give a plain bowl some "Pop"
Nice work! A couple of years ago a local quilling artist & I were going to collaborate on a turned piece - but then COVID happened and all those plans went out the window...
